Jones of Washington Winery
The Jones family of Eastern Washington had been growing grapes for years, and in 2006 started bottling their own vintages. This is their first official web site for the Jones of Washington Winery - the wines are not distributed currently outside Washington State, so the best way to taste them is by ordering through the web site!
Bear Ideas built the site using Drupal with Ecommerce v.3.4, it is not our largest site but is likely the most complex design-wise in 2008 with a hand written stylesheet many thousands of lines long accomplishing a very custom graphic design. A ship rating service to FedEx was written, as well as integration with Ship Compliant during the checkout process.
The award-winning design was done by Design Hovie Studios, and the marketing direction and overall strategy was through Bruce Bieber over at Wines of Washington (WOW) Promotions.
